MLC 2024: Major League Cricket (MLC) is a professional T20 cricket league conducted in the United States. The league is operated by American Cricket Enterprises (ACE) and is also sanctioned by USA Cricket and officially sanctioned by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
This will be the 2nd season of the Twenty20 cricket league after the inaugural season that took place in July 2023.
MLC 2024 will begin on July 5 (July 6 as per IST) and will be hosted at the following two venues:
Grand Prairie Stadium in Grand Prairie, Texas
Church Street Park in Morrisville, North Carolina
MI New York are the defending champions who won the inaugural season by defeating Seattle Orcas by 7 wickets.

A total of six teams will play in the 2nd edition of the Major League Cricket. These teams will compete in a round-robin format and then move forward to the knockout stages of the tournament. The 25-match tournament will include 21 round-robin matches followed by 1 eliminator, 1 qualifier, 1 challenger and the championship final.

All About Major League Cricket
In May 2024, the ICC awarded the Major League Cricket Official List A status, making it only the second associate-run franchise competition to acquire the status from the game's governing body.
This status means that all the records, runs, wickets and stats acquired in the MLC 2024 will now be added to the official records of the format. It also means that MLC is now an official T20 League, much like the IPL or the SA20 or Big Bash League.
American Cricket Enterprises (ACE) which operates the Major League Cricket is backed by Sameer Mehta and Vijay Srinivasan who are the founders of Willow TV, the largest cricket broadcaster in North America, and Satyan Gajwani and Vineet Jain of the Times Group in India.
