The S&P 500 futures was 0.12% down at 5,793.25, and the Down Jones Industrial Average futures declined 0.10% to 42,331.00. The Nasdaq 100 Futures declined 0.19% to 20,260.75 as of 3:30 p.m.

Nifty, Sensex Erase Gains In Last-hour Trade To Close Near Day's Lows: Stock Market Update At Close
Benchmark equity indices closed lower after one session of ending higher as they erased gains in last hour with Reliance, Nestle shares pulling them lower.
Intraday, the indices had risen as much as around 1.2% after RBI's monetary policy meeting changed the liquidity stance to 'neutral' from 'withdrawal of accommodation earlier, signaling at a potential rate cut. The weekly futures contract of Nifty Bank closed flat on expiry day.
The Nifty ended 0.12% or 31.20 points lower at 24981.95 and Sensex lost 0.21% or 167.7 points down at 81467.10.
Aditya Gaggar Director of Progressive Shares, said that the resistance level i.e. 25,200 acted very well in today's trade. "After a firm opening, the Index was seen compounding its gains for the major part of the day but in the last session, a steep fall in the select heavyweights dragged the Index lower and erased all its gains," he said. "Support and resistance are very well-placed i.e. 24,750 & 25,200, and breakout on either sides will provide a clear picture."
Shares of Reliance Industries Ltd., Nestle India Ltd., HDFC Bank Ltd., ITC Ltd., and Larsen & Toubro Ltd. dragged the Nifty.
While those of Infosys Ltd., Bharti Airtel Ltd., ICICI Bank Ltd., State Bank Of India, and Axis Bank Ltd. cushioned the fall.
Most sectoral indices end higher; Nifty FMCG fell the most and Nifty Realty was top gainer
Market breadth was skewed in favour of buyers. Around 2,716 stocks rose, 1,224 stocks declined, and 106 stocks remained unchanged on BSE.
Broader markets outperformed benchmarks. The BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices ended 1.06% and 1.21% higher, respectively.
On BSE, 17 sectors advanced, three declined out of 20. The BSE Realty rose the most, while the BSE FMCG declined the most.

Nifty, Sensex Off Day's High As Initial Reaction To MPC Meet Outcome Fades: Midday Market Update
India's benchmark stock indices were trading off their intraday high by midday on Wednesday as the initial reaction to the Monetary Policy Committee meeting outcome faded. The MPC held the RBI's key lending rate steady at 6.5% on Wednesday in line with market expectation.
As of 12:23 p.m., the Nifty 50 was trading 100.50 points, or 0.40%, higher at 25,113.65, and the Sensex gained 268.66 points, or 0.33%, to trade at 81,903.47. The Nifty had surged 0.88%, or 220.90 points, to 25,234.05, and the Sensex rose 0.84% to 82,319.21 after the monetary policy announcement.
"A close above 25,200/82,200 (for Nifty/Sensex) would bring positive surprises, while negative surprises could occur below 24,700/81,000 levels," said Shrikant Chouhan, head of equity research at Kotak Securities. "The strategy should be to reduce long positions between the 25,150 and 25,200 levels for Nifty. Short-term traders may consider trading long if Nifty sustains above 25,200 with a stop loss below 25,000," Chouhan said.
Infosys Ltd., Bharti Airtel Ltd., State Bank of India, Axis Bank Ltd., and ICICI Bank Ltd. added to the gain in Nifty.
Nestle India Ltd., Reliance Industries Ltd., HDFC Bank Ltd., Hindustan Unilever Ltd., and ITC Ltd. weighed on the index.
On NSE, nine out of 12 sectors advanced while three declined. The NSE Nifty FMCG declined the most, and the NSE Nifty Realty rose the most.
The NSE Nifty Pharma rose 1.76% to a record high of 23,178.35, tracking gains in Divi's Laboratories Ltd.
Broader markets outperformed benchmark indices. The BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices were trading 1.10% and 1.35% higher, respectively.
On BSE, 17 sectors advanced, and three declined out of 20. The BSE Power was the top performing sector, while the BSE FMCG declined the most.
Market breadth was skewed in favour of buyers. Around 2,913 stocks rose, 871 stocks declined, and 111 stocks remained unchanged on BSE.

It has closed in an inside range of the previous day and would give a breakout from current levels on crossover of 25,200 of the range, said Vikas Jain, head, research at Reliance Securities.
RSI has witnessed up move from the lower range and other key technical indicators are showing positive traction from current levels. Highest call OI has moved higher to 25,300 strikes while the downside the highest put OI is at 24,500 for the weekly expiry, Jain said.

Crude Oil Update: Oil Prices Continues To Gain
After delivering the biggest intraday drop in more than a year, crude oil future prices continued to recover in Asian trade. Concerns over China's economic condition weighed on the crude oil prices on Tuesday. Intraday, oil prices plunged 5.65% to $76.36 a barrel on Tuesday.
The brent crude was trading 0.69% higher at $77.71 a barrel as of 07:28 a.m.

The Nifty 50 and Sensex snapped their six-session losing streak to end higher on Tuesday, led by heavyweights HDFC Bank Ltd., Infosys Ltd., and Reliance Industries Ltd.
The Nifty 50 closed 0.88%, or 217.40 points higher at 25,013.15, and the Sensex gained 0.72%, or 584.81 points, to end at 81,634.81.
