Ahead of International Yoga Day on June 21, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been promoting different yoga poses through a series of animated videos of himself.

These videos, shared on social media platform X, show an animated version of PM Modi doing various yoga poses. The entire video series was uploaded on YouTube on June 11.

In his tweet on June 11, PM Modi stated, "In ten days from now, the world will mark the 10th International Day of Yoga, celebrating a timeless practice that celebrates oneness and harmony. Yoga has transcended cultural and geographical boundaries, uniting millions across the globe in the pursuit of holistic well-being."

"As Yoga Day approaches, I am sharing a set of videos that will offer guidance on various asanas and their benefits. I hope this inspires you all to practice Yoga regularly," he posted.

1. Vrikshasana: The Tree Pose

The first video from the series shared by PM Modi on social media platform X was on Vrikshasana or the tree pose. The post read "Vrikshasana or the tree pose has several benefits, including helping improve balance and posture."

By standing on one leg, Vrikshasana enhances both physical and mental balance. It tones the muscles of the legs, from thighs to feet, promoting strength and stability. The pose also helps in opening up the hips and improves flexibility in the pelvic area, benefiting overall reproductive health.

2. Tadasana: The Mountain Pose

On June 13, PM Modi shared insights about Tadasana, the second pose in the series. PM's post on X read "Tadasana is very good for the body. It will ensure more strength and better alignment."
