"NHAI has issued letter of award (LOA) for development of NH-11A (Extn)4-laning/2-laning with paved shoulder of Dausa-Lalsot-Kauthun section to PNC Infratech Ltd," NHAI said in a statement.

It said the 83 km long section passes through three districts of Rajasthan -- Dausa, Tonk and Jaipur -- and has been awarded on hybrid annuity mode.

The project comprises development of 34 km stretch to 4-lane with rigid pavement, from Dausa to Lalsot, and 2-laning of 49 km long section.

The concession period for the project under National Highways Development Project (NHDP) Phase IV is 17.5 years including construction period of 2.5 years.

The project will have 3 major bridges, 12 minor bridges, 1 Railway-over-bridge, 3 bypasses of a total length of 22 km, and 5 re-alignments of about 3 km, it said.

Development of this section will improve connectivity to various villages and towns and boost economy of the area by way of providing access to various places of business and touristic importance, the statement said.
