Salesforce Introduces New AI-Powered Einstein 1 Marketing And Commerce Innovations

Salesforce has expanded its Einstein Copilot capabilities by introducing new features for marketers and merchants. Einstein Copilot, Salesforce’s conversational AI assistant, will now help businesses with daily marketing and merchandising tasks, in addition to its existing functionalities for sales and service through the Einstein 1 Platform.

Salesforce also announced new tools for unifying business and commerce data, along with a new AI-powered personalisation decision engine that helps companies personalise customer interactions at different touchpoints, using data from various sources. 

Marketers and merchandisers understand that personalisation is imperative and using AI to create better experiences and business outcomes is a competitive requirement. Yet, they struggle to connect the right data and touch points to fully leverage AI for personalisation. 

Almost 80% of customers believe their experiences should be better, considering all the data companies collect. However, 75% of IT organisations struggle to integrate data insights into user experiences and only 31% of marketers are fully satisfied with their ability to unify customer data sources.

By unifying an organisation’s data on a single platform, brands can harness trusted AI to personalise customer engagement across marketing, commerce, sales and service.

New features of Einstein Copilot include:

Einstein Copilot For Marketing: The AI assistant has pre-built actions to simplify the campaign creation process by automatically generating marketing briefs, content and email campaigns. It also offers auto-generated responses based on customer data and aligned to brand voice.

Einstein Copilot For Merchants: The AI assistant simplifies commerce tasks. Using natural language prompts, it streamlines storefront setup and generates personalised promotions for customers. It also provides insights to improve product discoverability and provides AI-powered SEO recommendations.

Data Cloud For Commerce: Enables retailers to integrate enterprise data—like product details, inventory status and transactional history—with customer data to create a single view. It offers insights from AI-powered analytics and automation to help guide business decisions.

Einstein Personalisation: New AI-based decision engine that allows brands to leverage real-time customer data from Data Cloud to deliver marketing campaigns that automatically trigger next best offers and personalised content.
