CareEdge Research Report

In September 2024, the non-life insurance industry reported a premium of Rs 27,550.9 crore reducing by 6.5%, snapping a 12-month rising streak, compared to an increase of 29.1% in September 2023.

The industry’s lacklustre performance for September 2024 can be attributed to the drop in fire, crop insurance and Group health business segments.

Meanwhile the growth continues to be underpinned by the retail health, and motor segments.
