Nippon Life Q1 Review - Market Share Gains Across Segments, Outlook Healthy; Upgrade To Buy: Axis Securities

Nippon Life India Asset Management Ltd. reported a strong quarterly average asset under management growth of 54/12% YoY/QoQ and gained market share across all segments.

On an overall basis, MF QAAUM market share improved by 93 bps/24 bps YoY/QoQ. The share of Equity AUMs continued to improve to 49.8% versus 49.2% QoQ.

Equity AUM market share improved by 62 bps YoY and stood at 6.88%. The company continued to witness a steady uptick in SIP flows, which stood at Rs 75.3 billion (versus Rs 70.1 billion QoQ) during the quarter. SIP AUMs grew by 57/16% YoY/QoQ. SIP folios grew by 34/7% YoY/QoQ.
