Surpassing the consensus and our estimate, Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences Ltd. reported a healthy Q1 with strong revenue and profits. Revenue/Ebitda/profit after tax rose 14/14/10% YoY. Key highlights:
all expansion plans are on track.
The new Nashik unit (300- bed capacity) would be commercialised in Q2 FY25 initially with ~80 beds.
Vishakapatnam QNRI hospital (250-bed capacity) to be commercialised by end-Q2. Superior realisations, coupled with more in-patient footfalls fuelled growth.
Occupancy was 50% versus 51% in Q4.
