Air Pollution: How Have Indian Cities Fared?

India’s air quality worsens as the pandemic-hit economy recovers. India was the fifth most polluted country in 2021 and home to 35 of the 50 cities with the world’s most toxic air. According to IQAir’s World Air Quality Report, average air quality has worsened for the first time in three years in 2021.
