BNP Paribas executed transactions totaling Rs 1,600 crore on Friday, divesting its holdings in four listed companies through share sales in the secondary market.
The divestment involved the sale of a 0.83% equity stake in Sundaram Finance Ltd. for Rs 396 crore and a 0.82% stake in Phoenix Mills Ltd. for Rs 453 crore.
Simultaneously, BNP Paribas acquired a 0.63% shareholding in Jindal Stainless Ltd. for Rs 408 crore and sold approximately 0.6% ownership in PB Fintech Ltd. for Rs 351 crore. These transactions were executed via bulk deals, according to NSE data.
