The Election Commission of India has declared results for all Lok Sabha constituencies. The 2024 general elections saw several candidates winning seats with a slender margin of less than 10,000 votes.

Shiv Sena's Ravindra Dattaram Waikar secured the lowest victory margin of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, defeating Shiv Sena UBT candidate Amol Gajanan Kirtikar by a mere 48 votes from the Mumbai North West constituency.

Adoor Prakash of Congress won with a margin of 684 votes from Attingal in Kerala.

  • BJP's Rao Rajendra Singh from Jaipur Rural - 1,615 votes.

  • BJP's Brojraj Nag from Kanker in Chhattisgarh -1,884 votes.

Candidates Who Won With Less Than 5,000 Votes

  • BJP's Aruna DK from Telangana's Mahabubnagar - 4,500 votes.

  • Samajwadi Party's Anand Bhadauriya from Uttar Pradesh's Dhaurahra - 4,449 votes.

  • Congress' Manickam Tagore from Tamil Nadu's Virudhunagar - 4,379 votes.

  • BJP's Praveen Patel from Phulpur, UP - 4,332 votes.

  • Congress' Bacchav Shobha Dinesh in Dhule, Maharashtra - 3,831 votes.

  • Samajwadi Party's Ramashankar Rajbhar from Salempur - 3,573 votes.

  • Congress' Sher Singh Ghubaya from Firozpur, Punjab - 3,242 votes.

  • BJP's Kamlesh Paswan from Bansgaon, UP - 3,150 votes.

  • Senior Congress leader Manish Tewari from Chandigarh - 2,504 votes.

  • BJP's Mukesh Rajput from Farukhabad, UP - 2,678 votes.

  • Muhammad Hamdullah Sayeed of the Congress from Lakshadweep - 2,647 votes.

  • Samajwadi Party's Ajendra Singh Lodhi from Hamirpur, UP - 2,629 votes.

Mitali Bag won from West Bengal's Arambagh constituency with a margin of 6,399 votes, while BJP's Saumitra Khan from Bishnupur in West Bengal won by 5,567 votes.

Earlier Record

With a margin of nine votes each, Konathala Ramakrishna, who won the Anakapalli seat in Andhra Pradesh for the Congress, and BJP candidate Som Marandi, who bagged the Rajmahal seat in Bihar hold the record for the lowest victory margin in the Lok Sabha elections, achieving their respective feats in 1989 and 1998.
