The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) provides a range of Aadhaar card-related services online. It not only allows Aadhaar enrollees to order a reprint online under a paid service, but also enables users to check the status of their requests. Aadhaar-registered individuals can access this facility online either through the UIDAI website, uidai.gov.in, or mobile app mAadhaar. Using this service, a user can know the status of their Aadhaar by entering the 28-digit service request number along with the Unique Identity Number (also known as Aadhaar number), the UIDAI said on Twitter.
The UIDAI charges a fee of Rs 50 for each Aadhaar reprint, and delivers the Aadhaar card at the enrollee's doorstep through speed post.
How To Check Status Of Aadhaar Reprint
Go to the UIDAI portal, and select the "check Aadhaar reprint status" option under the "My Aadhaar" section. Here is the direct link.
After filling in the necessary details correctly, click on the "check status" button to proceed.
A valid entry leads to the next page where the status of an Aadhaar reprint request is displayed.
A similar process can be followed on the mAadhaar app to use the service. mAadhaar is available for Android and iPhone platforms.
