Suzlon Energy Ltd.'s 3.3-gigawatt order book has the potential to generate Rs 19,986 crore in revenue over the next two years, according to Chief Financial Officer Himanshu Mody.

On average, the company's revenue recognition per megawatt amounts to Rs 6 crore, Mody told NDTV Profit in a television interview.

The renewable energy solutions provider's order book stood at 2,929 megawatts as of fiscal 2024, marking a 4.5 times growth over the previous financial year. Added to this is the 402-megawatt order it secured from Juniper Green Energy Pvt. in the first quarter of financial year 2025. This takes the total order book to 3,331 megawatts.

Order Book Execution

The company will execute the current order book in the next eight quarters or two financial years, Mody said.

He stated that the majority of the order's execution will adhere to the historical pattern, with a significant portion of the execution taking place in the second half of the financial year.

The company expects India to add 4.5–5 gigawatts of wind installations. While the company's market share in installations stood at 37% in the previous fiscal, management did guide a market share range of 25% to 30% in its latest earnings call. This translates to a potential installation of 1.12 to 1.5 gigawatts by the company, according to the CFO.
