Patanjali Enters Telecom Sector, Launches SIM Cards: 5 Points

Yoga guru Ramdev's Patanjali Ayurved has tied up with state-run telecom company BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited). As part of the partnership, Patanjali Ayurved will offer SIM cards. Called "Swadeshi Samriddhi", the SIM card was launched by Ramdev on Sunday, news agency ANI reported. With the launch, Patanjali entered the telecom sector, according to the agency. Currently, Patanjali Ayurved offers a wide range of products from segments such as food, ayurvedic medicine, cosmetics, home care and personal care products. Patanjali Ayurved had formally launched its e-commerce operations with website Patanjaliayurved.net earlier this year.
