Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday flagged off a new bi-weekly train called Champaran Humsafar Express, at the commemoration of the 'Satyagraha se Swachhagraha campaign'. The train will run between Katihar (in Bihar) and New Delhi. PM Modi inaugurated Humsafar Express through a video conference in Motihari. The Humsafar Express is a fully AC 3-tier service with all the modern facilities. Its services long haul routes. The first Humsafar Express train was launched on December 16, 2016 between Gorakhpur and Anand Vihar.
