MonaVie plans manufacturing facility in South India

Today's verdict comes after the Supreme Court cancelled 122 telecom licenses issued by A Raja in 2008. While ordering that those licenses be re-allocated through an auction of spectrum, the Supreme Court placed the blame firmly on Mr Raja.

MonaVie, one of the fastest growing companies in health and wellness solutions, would launch its products in India by May and plans to set up a manufacturing facility in South India, a top official said.

Making its foray in India with five of its core products, the company has plans to make the country as its one of the big investment destination and market within 18 months, Randy Larsen, Founder and President, Asia Pacific and Latin America, MonaVie, told reporters.

As far as manufacturing facility in the country, MonaVie was in talks with five manufacturers, including some in Kerala and Karnataka, on partner-basis and zero in at least three facilities to cater to the needs of Indian market and also exports, Randy said.

He said the company has touched one million mark in distribution network.
