LIC Housing Finance (LICHFL) has invited online applications for 300 positions across states. Selected candidates will be appointed for the positions of assistant, associate and assistant manager at a monthly salary ranging from Rs 22,257 to Rs 52,200, according to the housing finance company's website - lichousing.com. Candidates can submit their applications online through the LIC Housing Finance portal, lichousing.com. The selection process will comprise an online examination and an interview for all three positions.

1. Who can apply? Applicants are required to be Indian citizens, LIC Housing Finance mentioned.
2. Age requirement: The candidate must not be below 21 years and above 28 years as on January 1, 2018. That means the candidate's birth date should be between January 2, 1990 and January 1, 1997 (both dates inclusive).
3. No. of positions/location: LIC Housing Finance has announced 150 vacancies for the position of assistant, 50 for associate and 100 for assistant manager.
For the positions of assistant and associate, the vacancies are spread across 23 states and Union territories including Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, UP, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. For these two positions, a candidate can apply from only one state. "Candidates applying for a particular state will be posted preferably in that state initially and can be transferred to any other state later subject to the requirement and suitability," according to LIC Housing Finance. In case of multiple registrations, only the latest valid registration will be counted.
For the position of assistant manager, the posting may be anywhere in the country based on the company's requirement.

Education qualification required: For the positions of assistant and associate, the candidate must have completed graduation on January 1, 2018 with a minimum aggregate of 55 per cent and 60 per cent respectively, according to LICHFL. Candidates applying for the position of associate are also required to have passed the CA Intermediate examination.
For those applying for the position of assistant manager, a two-year full-time management degree or post-graduate diploma from a recognized university, institute or board is required. The candidate, LIC Housing Finance mentioned, must have an aggregate of 60 per cent in both graduation and post-graduation.

7. Salary/basic pay: LIC has announced a starting basic pay of Rs 13,980 for the position of assistant, Rs 21,270 for that of associate and Rs 32,815 for assistant manager. The monthly emoluments - Rs 22,257, Rs 33,498 and Rs 52,200 respectively for assistant, associate and assistant manager posts - will depend on the location of posting, and will exclude benefits such as lunch allowance, provident fund (PF), mediclaim, gratuity, leave travel concession (LTC) and performance-linked incentive, according to LIC Housing Finance.
8. Probation period/training: For the positions of assistant and associate, a probation period of six months from the date of joining will be applicable, which may be extended for a maximum period of six months.
For the position of assistant manager, before appointment, there will be a training period of one year from the date of joining during which the candidate will be paid a salary of Rs. 25,000 per month. The appointment to the post of assistant manager will be subject to successful and satisfactory completion of the training period, according to LIC Housing Finance. There will be a probation period of one year from the date of appointment as assistant manager. This period may be extended for a maximum period of one year, it noted.
