Indigo Shareholder Pares Stake For Rs 224 Crore

Citigroup Global Markets Mauritius offloaded 5.21 lakh shares, which Societe Generale bought for Rs 4,300.4 apiece.

One of InterGlobe Aviation Ltd.'s shareholders sold a 0.13% stake for Rs 224 crore through an open market transaction on Thursday.

Citigroup Global Markets Mauritius Pvt. offloaded 5.21 lakh shares, which Societe Generale bought for Rs 4,300.4 apiece, according to the block deal data on the NSE.

On June 11, US-based Citigroup Inc. bought up shares of InterGlobe Aviation at a deal value of Rs 1,362 crore. The acquisition was made after a promoter entity trimmed its stake.

Citigroup Global Markets Mauritius had on June 11 mopped up 31.2 lakh shares at Rs 4,361 apiece, when promoter InterGlobe Enterprises Ltd. had sold 77.2 lakh shares for an aggregate amount of Rs 3,367 crore.

Shares of InterGlobe Aviation closed 0.11% higher at Rs 4,300.95 apiece on the BSE, as compared with a 0.27% rise in the benchmark Sensex.
