GoAir Offers Flight Tickets From 1,375 Rupees

GoAir's offer comes amid rising competition among the airlines operating in country's aviation market.

GoAir is offering domestic flight tickets at a starting all-inclusive ticket price of Rs 1,375 in a limited-period sale, according to airline's official website - goair.in. Bookings under this sale can be made till April 17, 2019. The travel period of GoAir's offer ends in June 2019. The carrier is offering discounts on sectors such as Ahmedabad-Bengaluru, Bagdogra-Guwahati, Bengaluru-Patna, Guwahati-Delhi, Kolkata-Mumbai, Kochi-Ahmedabad, Kolkata-Pune, among others, according to its website. Given below are the ticket prices available on various routes under GoAir's offer:

Under GoAir's latest offer on domestic flight tickets, the lowest flight ticket is available on Bagdogra-Guwahati at a starting price of Rs 1,375. Also flights on these routes are available at discounted rates: Guwahati-Bagdogra at a starting price of Rs 1,649, Ahmedabad-Mumbai at a starting price of Rs 2,149, Ahmedabad-Chennai at a starting price of Rs 3,348, among others.

Meanwhile, rival IndiGo has announced three new international and 20 domestic flight connections. IndiGo will operate daily non-stop flights between Mumbai and Jeddah, and between Mumbai and Abu Dhabi with effect from June 5, 2019. From July 5, 2019, it will operate daily non-stop flights between Mumbai and Dammam (Saudi Arabia), the carrier said in a press release.

These announcement comes amid rising competition among the airlines operating in the country's civil aviation market. According to a data from the aviation regulator DGCA or Directorate General of Civil Aviation, the number of passengers carried by domestic airlines in the first two months of 2019 grew 7.42 per cent compared to the corresponding period a year ago.
