PM Modi Meets Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol

PM Narendra Modi and President of Korea Yoon Suk Yeol met on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in New Delhi.

"The deliberations with President of Korea Yoon Suk Yeol were extensive. Reviewing the complete spectrum of bilateral relations, we agreed to further boost commercial and cultural ties between India and the Republic of Korea," Modi posted on X.

PM Modi Meets German Chancellor Olaf 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held talks with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on the sidelines of the G20 Summit.

"Very good meeting with @Bundeskanzler @OlafScholz in Delhi. Thanked him for enriching the G20 Summit with his views. Also discussed how India and Germany can continue working together in clean energy, innovation and work towards a better planet," Modi said in a post on X.

Erdoğan Backs India's UNSC Bid

India in the UN Security Council is something we support, it would be a proud moment, said Türkiye President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Only five countries as permanent UNSC members is not right, he said, adding that all 195 UN members should potentially be able to become permanent UNSC member.

China’s One Belt, One Road will continue, but the new economic corridor is tailored for Gulf countries, so we all took a joint step for this, said Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Not Hopeless About Restarting Grain Deal, Erdoğan

Erdoğan notes Putin said that the West did not maintain its promises and the grain couldn’t be exported free of charged to be ground up into flour in Ukraine.

Putin has agreed for 1 million tonne of grain to be allowed, and Russia will think about increasing the quantum, Erdoğan said.

Turkey will continue firm diplomacy and it’s foreign ministry will pursue the matter further, he said.

Erdoğan said his country is Investing efforts in stopping Ukraine war. Work is also underway to launch the Black Sea Grain corridor, he said.

India Hands Over G20 Presidency To Brazil

Prime Minister Narendra Modi handed over the presidency of G20 to President of Brazil Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.

"I wish Brazil’s President Lula da Silva the best and hand over the gavel to him," said Modi.

I congratulate PM Modi for efficiently leading G20 bloc and for excellent work in this Summit, Silva said.
