Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. launched new solutions across the HPE GreenLake cloud to simplify how enterprises manage and optimise their storage, data and workloads across on-premises and public cloud environments. The new hybrid cloud storage, private cloud offerings, and storage investment protection help enterprises automate and leverage data insights on HPE GreenLake.

The offerings include GreenLake Block Storage for Amazon Web Services, a software-defined storage solution for managing block storage across hybrid cloud environments. It will allow enterprises to manage and protect global storage environments, as well as move data, workloads, and backups for optimal performance and cost. The storage offering also delivers hybrid cloud data protection and disaster recovery.

The latest release of HPE GreenLake for Block Storage will now support NVMe capacity scaling up to 5.6PB and HPE Infosight AIOps with cross-stack analytics to enable workload visibility, higher availability, and optimized resource utilization. Cross-stack analytics, integrated into the HPE GreenLake cloud, streamlines storage management to help users avoid latency issues that reduce workload performance. The offering will enable enterprises to observe, predict and mitigate disruptions across virtual machine, storage, network, compute and cloud infrastructure.

HPE’s Timeless programme will offer new investment protection, helping lower the total cost of ownership for enterprises using block storage on HPE Alletra MP. The new programme includes a 100% data availability guarantee and StoreMore data efficiency guarantees, the company said.

Also, HPE Alletra MP and SimpliVity Gen11 are now available as offerings with HPE GreenLake for Private Cloud Business Edition, which provides a disaggregated, hyperconverged architecture. This self-service private cloud simplifies VM management and mobility across on-premises and public cloud environments.

According to the company, new support for Alletra MP will provide critical VM workloads with a 100% data availability guarantee. Additionally, new support for SimpliVity Gen11 will enable enterprises to run edge and general-purpose VMs with 99.999% data availability and built-in data protection, HPE said.

Zerto Cyber Resilience Vault now integrates Alletra MP, providing organizations with secure, immutable data copies and enabling rapid air-gapped recovery following a cyber attack. Alletra MP users will also be able to observe energy consumption and carbon emission trends through the HPE Sustainability Insight Centre, the company said.
