HCL Technologies Ltd. has announced that its system-agnostic generative artificial intelligence platform, AI Force, is now available on Google Cloud’s Gemini models.

The platform, which is aimed at fast-tracking the value of gen AI investments, has integrated Google’s multimodal large language model Gemini to enable enterprise innovation at scale. AI Force offers accessibility and support for Gemini applications, along with security and governance measures, the company said.

“Enterprises often struggle to scale gen AI opportunities beyond the proof-of-concept stage without incurring high costs. HCLTech AI Force enables faster time-to-market and higher efficiencies in the product engineering life cycle,” said Vijay Guntur, chief technology officer and head of ecosystems, HCLTech. “Our AI-driven approach to software engineering, support and maintenance provides an efficient and effective alternative for modernising engineering processes using gen AI.”

HCLTech industry solutions, supported by Gemini models, include intelligent asset tracking, improving material movement within plants for manufacturing, and a production lifecycle management solution. Additional industry solutions for mobile providers are aimed at augmented network automation and net-zero intelligence operations to reduce energy consumption.

With its full-stack application development, engineering expertise and experience in AI, HCLTech is working to help enterprises realise value from gen AI, from chip development to cloud and business process optimisation.

“Bringing Gemini models to HCLTech AI Force will help enable businesses choosing gen AI to start smart and finish faster. AI Force is accelerating the availability of our catalogue of Gemini-enhanced industry solutions,” said Siki Giunta, executive vice president, CloudSMART and Google Cloud Ecosystem, HCLTech.
