Apple launches its new redesigned Apple Watch Series 10. It will be available from Sept. 20 and starting at $399.

The newly launched Series 10 watch will have the biggest display so far and the thinnest Apple design. This watch will help detect and alert you about sleep apnoea by tracking breathing—a first for an Apple watch—in addition to tracking fertility cycle.

Sleep apnoea is a sleeping disorder where breathing repeatedly stops and starts. To detect sleep apnoea, the Apple Watch will utilise the accelerometer to monitor a new metric during sleep called breathing disturbances, said Sumbul Ahmed Desai, vice president of health at Apple.

"You can view your nightly values in the health app, which can also help you understand the restfulness of your sleep every 30 days. Apple Watch will analyse your breathing disturbance data and notify you if it shows consistent signs of moderate to severe sleep apnoea,” she said.

The Series 10 is nearly 10% thinner than the Series Nine at just 9.7 millimetres. Considering Apple watches are already compacted, this is a major reduction.

The watch can charge up to 80% in 30 minutes. It is made with titanium and available in shades of natural, gold and dark slate. Series 10 is part of Apple's next carbon neutral. It will also have new link bracelets and Milanese loops to accompany the new metal finishes.

The new depth gauge and water temperature app of the watch will make it compatible for water activities. This is not an exclusive feature to Series 10 as other brands have it as well.

Also, Apple has collaborated with Nike and Hermes to make attractive new straps.

Along with Series 10, Apple also launches the Ultra 2 Watch, designed mainly for athletes. It will be available from Sept. 20 starting at $799.

It is available in a satin black colour with a scratch-resistant case along with a matching black titanium band with parachute-style lock-in mechanisms.

The new Apple Watch Ultra is suitable for sports and fitness activities like cycling, swimming, hiking, athletics, and more.
