Adani Group To Be Principal Sponsor Of Indian Team At 2024 Paris Olympics

The summer Olympics will be held in France from July 24 to Aug. 11.

Gautam Adani, Chairman of Adani Group, announced the company as the principal sponsor for the Indian team at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

"As we get ready for the 2024 Paris Olympics, I wish the very best to the exceptional athletes who will represent our nation on the world’s grandest sporting stage. Their relentless riyaaz and unwavering dedication truly embody the new indomitable spirit of India. I am confident that this year, we will achieve our greatest medal haul ever," Adani said in a post on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.

The summer Olympics will be held in France from July 24 to Aug. 11.

Paris will be the host city, having been the second city to host the Olympics three times after London.

Race walkers Priyanka Goswami and Akshdeep Singh were the first Indians to qualify for the athletics events at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Indian shooters secured a quota in every Olympic shooting category for the first time, according to the official Olympics website.

Manu Bhaker came out on top at the national trials in the women’s 10m air pistol and the women’s 25m pistol.

Shreyasi Singh won the quota for the shotgun segment of the women's trap event.

India secured the women's boxing quota under the 57 kg weight category, with Jaismine Lamboria winning the Olympic qualifiers at Bangkok.
