Ashok Leyland Ltd.'s profit advanced in the fourth quarter of the financial year-ended March 2024, topping estimates.
Standalone net profit of the commercial vehicles maker rose 19.8% from the year earlier to Rs 900 crore in the three months ended March, the truck and bus maker said in a stock exchange filing, adding that the company's revenue decreased 3.1% year-on-year to Rs 11,267 crore.
Analysts polled by Bloomberg had pegged the top line at Rs 11,295.81 crore and the bottom line at Rs 839.75 crore.
