Modi Mumbai Roadshow: Timing And List Of Roads Closed
The Indian Prime Minister is set to hold a roadshow in Ghatkopar on Wednesday evening. Plan your travel ahead.
The Mumbai Traffic Police on Tuesday issued a traffic advisory ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's roadshow in Ghatkopar in the Mumbai North East constituency on Wednesday, May 15. The roadshow will reportedly be 2.5 km long and will start at 8 pm from Shreyas Cinema on LBS Marg to Gandhi Market in Sion.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police Dr Raju Bhujbal, Eastern Suburbs Traffic, a large number of individuals are expected to be present at LBS Marg. Therefore to ease the traffic on the adjoining roads, the Mumbai Traffic Police has made major changes.
Road Closed for Vehicular Traffic
L.B.S. Road from Gandhi Nagar Junction to Naupada Junction, Mahul- Ghatkopar road from Meghraj Junction to R.B.Kadam Junction shall be closed for all types of vehicular movement on both bound from 2.00 pm to 10.00 pm.

Vehicular traffic On Andheri Ghatkopar Link Road from Ghatkopar Junction to Sakinaka Junction.
Vehicular traffic towards Gulati petrol pump junction from Hiranandani Kailas Complex road.
Vehicular traffic from Golibar Maidan and Ghatkopar Metro Station (W) towards Sarvodaya Junction.

The following will be the alternate arrangement from 2.00 pm to 10.00 pm.

Andheri-Kurla Road
Saki Vihar Road
MIDC Central Road
Santacruz Chembur Link Road (SCLR)
Sion- Bandra Link Road
Jogeshwari Vikroli Link Road (JVLR).
Citizens and travellers have been advised by the Mumbai traffic police to plan their journey accordingly and use alternate routes to reach their desired destinations.
Prime Minister Modi's roadshow in Ghatkopar is taking place in the Mumbai North East constituency, where the BJP has fielded Mihir Kotecha as its candidate.
All the six Parliamentary constituencies in Mumbai, including Mumbai South, Mumbai North, Mumbai North Central, Mumbai South Central, Mumbai North East and Mumbai North West, will vote on May 20 in the fifth phase of elections, the last in Maharashtra.
