The National Testing Agency released the admit cards for re-examination of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (Undergraduate) on Friday, which will be held again for 1,563 students. The NTA and education department officials will be present at every examination centre for re-examination, according to an NDTV report.

Six examination centres have been changed for the NEET re-examination. The centre from where toppers ranked in Jhajjar district of Haryana was changed. Two students told NDTV about the changing of the exam centre.

Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced on Thursday that the government would form a high-level committee to probe irregularities and vowed action.

After the NEET UG 2024 results were declared on June 4, widespread allegations of irregularities and demands for a re-examination echoed across the country. Over 24 lakh candidates across 4,750 centres in 571 cities, including 14 overseas venues, took the examination.

On Wednesday, the UGC NET exam was scrapped following input received from the National Cyber Crime Threat Analytics Unit over concerns that the integrity of the examination may have been compromised. A retest was declared, the date of which is yet to be announced.
