Stock Market Today: Nifty Rises For Fifth Consecutive Session As ITC, Airtel, HUL Lead

The Nifty settled 71.35 points or 0.29% higher at 24,770.20, and the Sensex ended 102.44 points or 0.13% higher at 80,905.30.Rupee depreciates by 14 paise to close at 83.93 against the US dollar.The NSE Nifty Midcap 150 ended 0.45% higher at 21,626.75.The NSE Nifty Smallcap 250 index ended 1.06% higher at 17,920.90.

Market breadth was skewed in favour of buyers. Around 2,611 stocks rose, 1,340 stocks declined, and 87 remained unchanged on BSE.

  • The NSE Nifty 50 rose for a fifth consecutive session on Wednesday. The index moved in a range of 133.45 points.

  • The BSE Sensex rose for a second consecutive session. The index move in the range of 326.45 points.
