FPIs Stay Net Buyers For The Third Straight Day

Overseas investors remained net buyers of Indian equities for the third consecutive session on Tuesday.

Foreign portfolio investors mopped up stocks worth Rs 76.9 crore, according to provisional data from the National Stock Exchange.

Domestic institutional investors turned net buyers and bought equities worth Rs 1,923.3 crore, the NSE data showed.

Foreign institutions have been net buyers of Rs 1,36,343 crore worth of Indian equities so far in 2023, according to data from the National Securities Depository Ltd., updated till the previous trading day.

The NSE Nifty 50 closed 91 points, or 0.43%, lower at 20,906.40, while the S&P BSE Sensex ended 378 points, or 0.54%, down at 69,551.03.
