Awfis Space Solutions Mops Up Rs 268 Crore From Anchor Book Issue Ahead Of IPO

Twelve domestic mutual funds have applied through a total of 19 schemes, and have collectively netted 53.53% of the anchor portion of Rs 143 crore.

Awfis Space Solutions Ltd. has raised Rs 268 crore from anchor investors, ahead of its initial public offering. The company allotted 70.13 lakh shares at Rs 452 apiece to 32 anchor investors, with mutual funds leading the pack.

ICICI Prudential Housing Opportunities Fund, Goldman Sachs Funds-Goldman Sachs India Equity Portfolio and East Bridge Capital Master Fund I Ltd. got the highest allocation of 6.70% each.

Ashoka WhiteOak ICAV-Ashoka WhiteOak Emerging Markets Equity Fund and Ashoka WhiteOak Emerging Markets Trust Plc secured 3.72% each, while HDFC Small Cap Fund, HDFC Mutual Fund, Nippon Life India Trustee Ltd. secured 3.35% each in the pre-IPO round fundraising.

HDFC Small Cap Fund, ICICI Prudential Housing Opportunities Fund, Nippon Life India Trustee and Axis Mutual Fund Trustee are among the key investors in this category.

The leading book managers for the anchor round were ICICI Securities Ltd., Axis Capital Ltd., IIFL Securities Ltd. and Emkay Global Financial Services Ltd.

Awfis Space Solutions will launch its initial public offering on Wednesday to raise up to Rs 598.93 crore.

The flexible workspace solutions company has set a price band of Rs 364-383 per share for its three-day IPO, which is a mix of fresh issue of equity shares worth Rs 128 crore and an offer-for-sale of 1.23 crore shares by the existing shareholders. The minimum application lot size is 39 shares.

The offer, which concludes on Friday, is set to list on the BSE and the National Stock Exchange.
