UGC-NET June 2024 Examination Cancelled By Government Over Security Concerns

The National Testing Agency cancelled the UGC-NET June 2024 examination on Tuesday due to indications of a compromised integrity.
The Ministry of Education announced the cancellation based on inputs from the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre under the Ministry of Home Affairs. On Wednesday, the University Grants Commission received information from the National Cyber Crime Threat Analytics Unit of I4C, suggesting potential compromises in the examination process.
The Ministry of Education said that to maintain transparency and the sanctity of the examination process, the UGC-NET June 2024 examination has been cancelled.

In a related issue, the NEET (UG) 2024 examination's grace marks matter has been fully addressed. Concerning alleged irregularities in Patna, a detailed report has been requested from the Economic Offences Unit, Bihar Police. Further action will be taken upon receipt of this report.
