Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Global Leaders Congratulate PM Modi For Securing Third Term
Social media was abuzz with many global leaders who congratulated PM Modi and the NDA.
Leaders from countries across the world congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the National Democratic Alliance on securing a third term in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Held in India from April 19 to June 1, the general elections saw a neck to neck competition between the NDA and the INDIA alliance, surprising many exit poll analysts who predicted a majority for the NDA alliance.
Despite stiff competition, the NDA formed the government with 293 seats.
Social media was abuzz with many global leaders who congratulated PM Modi and the NDA.
US President Joe Biden congratulated Prime Minister Modi and the NDA on their electoral victory. He emphasized that the growing friendship between the two nations will pave the way for unlocking boundless potential in the future.

Mohamed Muizzu, Prime Minister of the Republic of Maldives, congratulated the NDA and said that he looked forward to working together to advance pursuit of "shared prosperity and stability" between the two countries.
He was joined by Maldives Vice President, Hussain Mohamed Latheef and Abdulla Shahid, the former president of United Nations General Assembly and former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Maldives, who echoed the sentiment of strengthening ties.
Mohamed Nasheed, President of the island nation, also extended congratulations to PM Modi and said he had "no doubt" that there will be another term of "warm and great Maldives-India friendship".
