Zomato Ltd. has relaunched its 'Intercity Legends' service, which allows users to order food from popular restaurants in other cities, albeit this time with a minimum order value of Rs 5,000.

The feature, which was paused in April, has been relaunched with a fresh look within the app. The service is now called 'Legends' and allows users to curate their order with dishes from various restaurants across cities in the same transaction. All orders, if placed before 7 p.m., will be delivered the next day.

Earlier, Zomato brought out orders on the same day for certain restaurants as well, indicating it kept stock for certain dishes. That has now been withdrawn and all dishes are flown in chilled, purely on the basis of orders. There was also no minimum order value earlier, which has now been set at Rs 5,000, positioning the service as a party order feature.

In April, the tab for the service had shut and pushed a note saying "Closed Now. Be back soon."

On the delivery front, Zomato has been coming out with several new features. Its 'Everyday' feature allows users to order home-cooked food on a subscription basis. It also now has offers on large orders, alongside retailing inexpensive brand coupons.
