Wipro Ltd. said it's not in talks with Standard Chartered for a multi-million-dollar deal, dismissing news reports over the same.

The company, in response to a news article by the Mint online on June 16, with the headline 'Wipro wins multi-million dollar deal from Standard Chartered,' said in an exchange filing on June 18 that the report is inaccurate.

"Wipro follows the highest standards of governance and disclosures and any material information requiring it to make disclosures under the applicable regulatory requirements will be promptly disseminated by the company to the stock exchanges," it said.
