SBI General Insurance (SBIG), on Wednesday, announced the launch of its new corporate brand identity with redesigned logo and the tagline ‘Suraksha aur Bharosa dono'. SBI General Insurance is a joint venture insurance company, with the country's largest lender State Bank of India (SBI) holding the majority stakes.
In an official release, SBI General Insurance said that the new purple colour logo conveys SBIG's future- readiness with services to its customers consisting of traditionalists and modernists across India. The traditionalist customers are those who value trust, loyalty, value for money and integrity, whereas modernists look for flexibility and future readiness.
The insurance company also tweeted about the new logo and tagline via its official handle.

Founded in 2009, SBIG currently has more than 120 branches across the country.
