Sabeer Bhatia's AMP Technologies sets up India office; to employ 1,000

AMP Technologies, Sabeer Bhatia-led cloud-based software and services company, today announced formal launch of its facility in India, where it will recruit 1,000 employees by 2015.

The office in Chennai will offer access to critical investment information from any PC, laptop, tablet or mobile device for commercial real estate investors.

"I am extremely delighted to launch this new business venture in India," Bhatia, AMP Technologies co-founder and chairman, said in a release here.

AMP is a cloud-based real estate asset management platform and there is no need for installation of hardware, software, databases, maintenances or upgrades, he said.

"Our aim is to become a leader in delivering world-class solutions and services to the real estate managers across the globe," the Hotmail co-founder said.

Neel Naicker, co-founder and CEO of AMP Technologies, said, "We formed this company in 2010, and since then a lot of R&D has gone into developing our products.

"Earlier this year, AMP Technologies created an offshore services offering to provide commercial real estate investors, owners and operators with cost-effective and high quality lease administration, finance and accounting, and due diligence services."

AMP's 250-seat facility in Chennai will focus on future IT development and deliver lease administration, finance and accounting and due diligence services using the company's platform, he said.

"We will be recruiting 1,000 employees by the end of calendar year 2015 to service commercial real estate investors, owners and operators throughout the world," Mr Naicker added.
