Radico Khaitan's Single Malt Rampur Asava Hits Indian Shelves

Priced at Rs 10,000 per bottle, Rampur Asava will debut in Uttar Pradesh.

Radico Khaitan, one of India's leading alcohol beverage companies, has unveiled its latest single malt whisky with the launch of Rampur Asava.

Priced at Rs 10,000 per bottle, Rampur Asava will debut in Uttar Pradesh and be available in Delhi, Chandigarh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Telangana, and Goa by the end of this financial year. The company also plans to introduce Rampur Asava through the Ministry of Defence's Canteen Stores Department, aiming to cater to a wider audience.

Radico Khaitan operates distilleries in Rampur and Sitapur in Uttar Pradesh and Aurangabad in Maharashtra, with a combined capacity of 320 million litres, complemented by 41 bottling units nationwide.

The company aims to capitalise on the growing demand for premium spirits in the Indian market, leveraging Radico Khaitan's expertise in crafting high-quality beverages.

Several Indian brands have received international acclaim of late, including Paul John Single Malt whiskies such as Mithuna priced at Rs 22,000, Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez at Rs 13,000 each, and Rampur Indian Single Malt at Rs 12,500 for a 750-ml bottle. Crazy Cock Dhua—The Peated One, produced by South Seas Distilleries, is priced at Rs 12,500 for a 750-ml bottle.
