NBCC Assigns Additional Finance Director Role To CMD KP Mahadevaswamy

Mahadevaswamy has been assigned the additional role for three months starting from July 1, or until a permanent appointment is made, whichever comes first.

NBCC (India) Ltd. announced on Tuesday that KP Mahadevaswamy, the current Chairman and Managing Director of the company, has been assigned the additional role of Director (Finance).

Mahadevaswamy has been assigned the additional role for three months starting from July 1, 2024, or until a permanent appointment is made—whichever comes first—as per an exchange filing.

He took on the role of CMD of NBCC (India) on Oct. 1, 2023. He brings with him approximately 33 years of extensive experience in managing numerous high-value, critical, and diverse civil engineering projects across the country.

Earlier, on June 6, the company announced that it has received 13 orders, with a total worth of Rs 491 crore. The largest order it received is worth Rs 130 crore, for the construction of residences at the Ministry of External Affairs' plot in INA New Delhi.

This follows an order worth Rs 112 crore from the Central Government Health Scheme, Mumbai for construction of multi-facility healthcare complex.

Shares of NBCC (India) closed 0.73% lower at Rs 189.80 per share, as compared to a 0.49% advance in the Sensex.
