DigiLocker is a cloud-based platform for issuance, storage, sharing and verification of documents and certificates, according to the official website - digilocker.gov.in. One can store a host of official documents like Aadhaar card, PAN (Permanent account number) card, driving license among others in DigiLocker. Digital India's official Twitter handle posted various benefits of using DigiLocker on Monday. DigiLocker keeps your documents safe, is free of cost, eases the turnaround time for various financial services and reduces administrative costs, the tweet further said.
