JSW Neo Energy Secures 400-Megawatt Wind-Solar Hybrid Project

JSW Energy Ltd. announced that its subsidiary, JSW Neo Energy, has secured an additional 400- megawatts of wind-solar hybrid project from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. This new allocation raises JSW Neo Energy's total capacity under MSEDCL's Phase III to 600 MW.

Following this, JSW Energy’s total locked-in generation capacity now stands at 17.6 gigawatts. This includes 7.5 GW operational, 2.3 GW under construction, and 7.7 GW in its renewable energy pipeline.

The company also has 4.2 GWh of locked-in energy storage capacity through battery storage and hydro-pumped storage projects.

JSW Energy targets a 10 GW installed generation capacity by fiscal 2025, up from the current 7.5 GW, and aims to reach 20 GW total capacity and 40 GWh of energy storage by 2030. The company has also set an ambitious goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.
