JSW Neo Energy Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of the power producer JSW Energy, has received a Letter of Award for wind-solar hybrid power projects of 300 megawatts capacity from SJVN Ltd., it said in an exchange filing.

SJVN Ltd. had invited companies to set up 1,500 MW interstate transmission system connected wind-solar hybrid power projects via tariff- based competitive bidding.

This increases JSW Energy's total locked-in capacity to 13.9 GW, a statement said. "The company expects to have an installed generation capacity of 9.8 GW by 2024, up from 7.3 GW currently."

The company also has 3.4 gigawatt-hours of locked-in energy storage capacity from battery energy storage systems and hydro pumped storage projects.

JSW Energy is targeting a generation capacity of 20 GW and an energy storage capacity of 40 GWh by 2030, the statement said.
