Jet Airways Announces New Domestic Flights: Routes, Schedule And Other Details
Jet Airways, the country's second largest airline by market share, on Tuesday announced new daily direct flights on domestic routes. The airline introduced a daily direct flight connecting Visakhapatnam with Delhi, among others. "Air traffic from Visakhapatnam has grown by a CAGR of more than one third in the last three years. The growth in the city's IT sector in the recent times is boosting the local economy," said Mr. Raj Sivakumar, senior vice-president, worldwide sales & distribution, Jet Airways. The airline also introduced a second daily frequency between Visakhapatnam and Mumbai, said the airline in press release.
Jet Airways shared the schedule of new flights:
Visakhapatnam to New Delhi and Mumbai:
Jet Airways flight 9W 170, will depart from Visakhapatnam at 20:30 hours (IST) and arrive at Delhi at 22:50 hrs (IST). From Delhi, flight 9W 169 will depart at 07:00 hrs and land at Visakhapatnam at 09:20 hrs.
Jet Airways has also introduced a second frequency to Mumbai. Flight 9W 938, departs Visakhapatnam at 10:25 hours and arrives into Mumbai at 12:30 hrs. On the return flight 9W 933 departs Mumbai at 17:15 hours and arrives at Visakhapatnam at 19:20 hours.
The airline's existing flight 9W 980, continues to depart Visakhapatnam at 1345 hrs. and arrives at Mumbai at 1555 hrs. On the return, 9W 797 departs Mumbai at 1110 hrs. into the port city at 1315 hrs.
Coimbatore to Hyderabad:
Jet Airways flight 9W 961, will depart from Coimbatore at 14:25 hrs and arrive at Hyderabad at 15:45 hrs. From Hyderabad, flight 9W 962 will depart at 12:35 hrs and land at Coimbatore at 13:55 hrs.
Guwahati to Mumbai and New Delhi:
Jet Airways non-stop flight 9W 135 will depart from Guwahati at 13:35 hrs and arrive into Mumbai at 16:50 hrs. The return leg, 9W 136 will depart Mumbai at 13:30 hrs and arrive in Guwahati at 16:40 hrs.
Jet Airways one-stop flight 9W 135 will take off from Delhi at 09:30 hrs and arrive into Guwahati at 13:00 hrs via Bagdogra. Flight 9W 136 will take off from Guwahati at 17:10 hrs and arrive into Delhi at 20:45 hrs, via Bagdogra.
Chandigarh to Kolkata:
Jet Airways flight 9W 158, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, will depart from Chandigarh at 13:45 hrs and arrive at Kolkata at 16:25 hrs. From Kolkata, he return flight 9W 157 will depart at 10:35 hrs and land at Chandigarh at 13:15 hrs (IST).
Chandigarh to Lucknow:
Likewise, Jet Airways flight 9W 3523, will depart from Chandigarh at 14:45 hrs and arrive at Lucknow at 16:40 hrs. From Lucknow, flight 9W 3524 will depart at 13:50 hrs and land at Chandigarh at 15:40 hrs.
Lucknow to Bengaluru:
Jet Airways flight 9W 3514 will depart from Lucknow at 14:00 hrs and land at Bengaluru at 16:30 hrs on Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Similarly, flight 9W 3513 will depart from Bengaluru at 11:00 hrs and arrive in Lucknow at 13:30 hrs.
