Haider starring Shahid Kapoor continued to trail behind Hrithik Roshan's Bang Bang, despite receiving good reviews from critics and audiences.
While Haider managed to rake in Rs. 31.78 crore till Monday, Bang Bang earned over three times at and entered the Rs 100 crore-club, according to koimoi.com. Interestingly Bang Bang has not exactly received rave reviews.
Directed by Vishal Bharadway, Haider stars Kay Kay Menon, Tabu, Shraddha Kapoor and Irrfan Khan alongside Shahid Kapoor. Haider is based on William Shakespeare's tragedy Hamlet.
While Haider has been made with a budget of Rs. 24 crore, Bang Bang's budget is a whopping Rs. 140 crore (including prints and advertising).
Bang Bang is directed by Siddharth Anand and stars Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif. It is an official remake of the Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz starrer 2010 film Knight and Day.
