Blue Dart Posts 21% Fall In Q2 Profit

New Delhi: Logistics company Blue Dart Express on Wednesday reported a 20.68 per cent decline in net profit at Rs 42.80 crore for the quarter ended September.
The company had clocked a net profit of Rs 53.96 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
Total income from operations grew to Rs 663.22 crore during the quarter under review, as against Rs 653.05 crore in the year-ago period. Total expenses stood at Rs 599.31 crore as against Rs 570.58 crore earlier.
"We will continue to invest in technology and infrastructure and align our people and strategy to cater to India's express logistics requirements," Blue Dart managing director Anil Khanna said.
