Bang Bang's Collections Inch Towards Rs 100 Crore

Bang Bang starring Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif is knocking on the doors of the Rs 100 crore-club. Till Sunday, Bang Bang had raked in Rs 94.13 crore with collections of over Rs 20 crore everyday, according to koimoi.com. The Hrithik-Katrina starrer is expected to cross Rs 100 crore in domestic box office collections on Monday, which is a holiday on account of Eid.

Bang Bang has been made with a whopping budget of Rs 140 crore (including prints and advertising), according to bollywoodhungama.com.

Bang Bang produced by Fox Star Studios is being touted as one the costliest films ever made in India. Fox Star Studios is a joint venture between 20th Century Fox, one of the world's largest producers and distributors of motion pictures and STAR, an Indian media and entertainment company, both owned by Rupert Murdoch's 21st Century Fox.

Bang Bang released on Thursday October 2, which was a holiday owing to Gandhi Jayanti. Directed by Siddharth Anand, Bang Bang is an official remake of the Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz starrer 2010 film Knight and Day.

Bang Bang sees the coming together of Hrithik and Katrina's pairing after Zindani Na Milegi Dobara.

The film is running in more than 4,500 screens.
