A2Z Infra Engineering Jumps 12% On Order Win In Nepal
Mumbai: Shares of A2Z Infra Engineering surged nearly 12 per cent today after the company won a $13.56 million (around Rs 90 crore) contract from Nepal government for expansion of electricity distribution network.
The stock gained 11.79 per cent to Rs 34.60 on BSE.
At NSE, shares of the company jumped 12.15 per cent to Rs 34.60.
A contract has been awarded from Nepal Electricity Authority, a Nepal government undertaking on June 10, A2Z Infra had said in a BSE filing.
The contract is for expansion of distribution network in the Western Region of Nepal. The award has been made for a "contract price aggregating to $1,35,63,420.77," the company said.
The award was given on the basis of a global tender, it added.
